A while back my wife and I stumbled upon a wonderful place, a beautiful and magical little Village that we knew we'd call home someday. That day finally arrived and we have truly found our Little Slice of Heaven here on earth. A custom of the Village, started by a generous and talented man, Lynn Newton, was to make and present a wooden gift box to each new resident when they moved in. When Mr. Newton retired, because I love working with my hands, I took on this important and beloved Village tradition as my project now. And, because I do so enjoy making things to make people happy (and protect wildlife) I've formalized the concept somewhat and expanded the designs beyond that beloved wooden box where it all started to now offer Custom Logo'd Presentation Boxes, Blue Bird, Screech Owl, and Wood Duck houses as well as Bat Shelters for natural Mosquito control. Process

Each piece is designed and built by following the time-honored traditions of the original wooden Blount Springs Box. Each new creation is built with love and respect of our neighbors, to be in harmony with our surroundings, for the protection of the creatures of our forest and made with the talents blessed upon us through the Glory of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

My Promise

I create pieces you can enjoy for years to come. However, because they are made with mostly reclaimed, untreated wood, for outdoor use, they won't last forever. But, if you ever encounter a design flaw or craftsmanship issue, I will fix or replace the piece–you only pay to ship.
